Rental terms and conditions - 15 July 2009
You must imperatively read the following terms and conditions applying to the rental you have picked.
We remind you that the Specific Terms and Conditions of the rented place prevail upon the General Terms and Conditions.
1. Contract
The rented place is still considered available for rental as long as the reservation has not been effectively paid for. After payment, you will receive a confirmation email including your receipt. You will find in this receipt all the information regarding your rental. You must print out this confirmation and have it in your possession at the moment of your arrival.
The tenant declares to be over eighteen of age, and must accept the entirety of the terms and conditions of the contract.
A photocopy of your Identity Card or your passport will be requested at your arrival at the rented place.
2. Stay
The rental starts at 2 p.m and ends at 10 a.m on the dates defined in the contract.
3. Prices
Our prices include the insurance.
Prices can be modified by BED & STYLE anytime and without notice, unless the reservation has already been accepted. (See article 10 – Price Guarantee)
4. Payment
We accept payments by Carte Bleue, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and bank transfer.
Payment takes place through the secured payment system of BNP Paribas Bank. The entirety of the reservation amount will then be debited.
Two types of refund are possible:
- Refund of the entirety of the reservation amount if the reservation is cancelled more than one month prior to arrival.
- Refund of 60% of the total amount if the reservation is cancelled between two weeks and one month prior to arrival.
No refund will be possible in case of a reservation cancelled less than two weeks prior to the arrival date.
5. Security Deposit
a) Security Deposit procedure
The security deposit takes place at your arrival.
The security deposit can be made by check, or by credit card.
We accept security deposits by Carte Bleue, Visa or MasterCard. Not by American Express.
b) Security Deposit refund
If the inventory of fixtures does not result in apparent observations, the security deposit will be refunded when the keys are handed back.
If damages are noted, the refund will take place within one month, and the estimated cost of the damages will be deducted from it.
6. Breach of contract
If clauses of the contract are not observed, extra charges can be asked and BED & STYLE can demand that the tenant leave the rental immediately, without compensation.
7. Responsibility
You will be held responsible for:
a) Any degradation of the property and its furniture made by you or any member of your group. You will also be held responsible for all damages on a third party resulting in your action or that of a member of your group or by a guest invited by you or a member of your group.
b) The cleanliness of the rental at the end of your stay. Any breach in this department on your part or on that of a member of your group can lead to deductions from your security deposit, and even extra charges if the damages exceed the total amount of the deposit.
8. BED&STYLE Commitments
BED&STYLE commits to:
a) Respect the general terms and conditions.
b) Provide the customer with household linen at their arrival.c) Respect the commitments made to the tenant.
d) Return the security deposit at the tenant’s departure if no damage is noted.

9. Capacity
In any case, the number of tenants can never be superior to the capacity stipulated in the contract. However, a baby bed is available on demand (less than 20 months). Pets are not allowed.
10. BED&STYLE obligations and Price Guarantee
The price of the stay is guaranteed at the moment of the acceptation of the reservation. Water, electricity, heating, household linen, and resort tax are included.
House cleaning is scheduled every six days. For daily house cleaning, please read extra service options offered by BED&STYLE.
Any extra cost will be specified for the rented apartment.
11. Additional services
BED&STYLE is willing to meet your expectations in terms of additional needs. Prices are set after agreeing on the service asked and its price.
12. Limitations of responsibility
BED&STYLE can not be held responsible for: temporary material defect, power cut, water cut or reduction not resulting directly from BED & STYLE, loss, breakage, or injury resulting from weather conditions, riots, strikes, or any other circumstance resulting in a case of force majeure.
If the rented place were to be destroyed or greatly damaged before the beginning of the rental, the tenant will be informed by email and entirely refunded as quickly as possible. In case of a misunderstanding, the owner can in no way be held responsible for sums exceeding the total cost of the rental.
Although BED & STYLE pays a particular attention to all publications concerning its rentals, BED & STYLE can in no way be held responsible if a mistake or an omission should occur in the description of the rentals. Besides, BED & STYLE cannot be held responsible for the defectiveness of devices or the misuse of devices in the rentals.
13. Litigation
In case of any claim or litigation arising from the aforementioned terms and conditions of rental or from actions resulting from the terms and conditions of rental, only Paris courts will be considered competent.
